Feature guide

In-game guild chat

Onyx can post the alerts you care about straight into your Lords Mobile guild chat, right beside Telegram and Discord. One menu decides what shows up and how fast.

How it works

A third place for your alerts

Onyx already sends alerts to your Telegram group and Discord channel. This feature adds your actual in-game guild chat as an extra destination, so guildmates who are in the game and not on Telegram still see the ones that matter. You pick which alert types are allowed through, and everything else stays out of guild chat.

Requirement. This only works once your in-game game chat bot is activated. Until then, /guildchat replies that the chat bot is not linked yet. Ask your provider to set it up first.
Admins only. The /guildchat menu can only be opened by group admins, so a random member cannot flood your guild chat with alerts.

Set it up

One menu, /guildchat

Type /guildchat and Onyx opens a menu of toggle buttons plus your current allow and block lists. Tap the alerts you want in guild chat, then set a delay if you need one.

Toggles

Pick which alerts post to guild chat

Each alert type is its own button. A master switch at the top turns guild chat posting on or off for everything, and below it you toggle shield drops, leader returned, monitored castle changes, tracked player changes, fury, burning, rally, and front test.

1

Open the menu

Onyx shows the toggle buttons with a green check for on and a red cross for off, plus your allowed and blocked names.

/guildchat
2

Tap the master switch

Turn guild chat posting on. With it off, nothing goes to guild chat no matter what the other buttons say.

3

Turn on the alert types you want

Tap each button to allow or block that type. A common setup is shield drops and fury on, and the noisier types off. Telegram and Discord keep getting all your alerts as normal.

Delay

Hold in-game posts a few seconds

In-game guild chat can feel spammy if alerts land the instant they fire. A delay holds each in-game auto-alert for a set number of seconds before it posts. Your Telegram and Discord alerts stay instant either way.

1

Set the delay in seconds

Pick any number of seconds. Thirty is a good starting point.

/guildchat delay 30 In-game alerts are now held 30 seconds. Telegram and Discord stay instant.
2

Turn the delay off

Set it back to zero and in-game alerts post the moment they fire.

/guildchat delay 0

Choose who can run commands from guild chat

Onyx also lets guildmates run a few read-only lookups from inside guild chat, like .info, .find, .track, .watch, and .fronttest. The allow and block lists decide who is permitted to use them.

1

Allow a name

While the allow list is empty, anyone in your guild can use the in-game commands. Add a name and only listed players can.

/guildchat allow NAME
2

Block a name

A blocked name is always denied, even if the allow list is empty.

/guildchat block NAME
3

Reset a list

Clear the allow or block list when you want to start over.

/guildchat clearallow /guildchat clearblock

Guild chat commands

/guildchat

Opens the menu of which alerts also post to your in-game guild chat, plus your allowed and blocked lists. Group admins only, and only works when your game chat bot is activated.

/guildchat delay <seconds>

Holds in-game auto-alerts this many seconds before they post. Telegram and Discord stay instant. Example: /guildchat delay 30. Use 0 to turn the delay off.

/guildchat allow <name>

Lets that guildmate run Onyx's in-game guild chat commands. While the allow list is empty, anyone in the guild can.

/guildchat block <name>

Stops that guildmate from running the in-game commands, even if the allow list is empty.

/guildchat clearallow

Empties the allow list, so anyone in the guild can use the in-game commands again.

/guildchat clearblock

Empties the block list.

Note. Guild chat is an extra destination, not a replacement. Your Telegram group and Discord channel still receive every alert as normal, and the delay never affects them.
